FormVault

Built in Europe, for Europe

FormVault started from a simple frustration: existing form tools make it surprisingly hard to be GDPR-compliant. Data ends up in the US, analytics trackers fire on every page load, and the consent flows are deliberately confusing.

We built FormVault to be different — privacy by design, not as an afterthought.

🔒

Privacy first

We implement GDPR Article 25 — privacy by design and by default. We use self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Umami) for aggregate traffic counts — no personal data, no ads, no third-party processors outside the EEA.

🇪🇺

European through and through

Server infrastructure: Hetzner, Nuremberg, Germany. Company: Norway. No data processing agreements needed with non-EU countries.

🔓

Transparent

No dark patterns, no hidden costs, no confusing consent dialogs. When something changes about how we handle data, we'll tell you plainly.

Lean and focused

FormVault does one thing — encrypted forms — and does it well. We're not trying to be a CRM, an email platform, or an analytics suite.

Part of the EU Indie Starter Pack

FormVault is built alongside FjordID (EU authentication) and Invoicia (EU billing) as part of what we call the EU Indie Starter Pack — a fully EU-hosted stack for indie SaaS builders. All three tools share the same design principle: EU data residency by default, no US cloud dependencies.

The full catalogue of EU software alternatives is at eualts.eu.
